Emergency Service Personnel- Allows officers the ability to rapidly respond to other pending crises
- Decreases repeat calls
- Provides officers with accurate and comprehensive information about available community resources and services
- Fosters cooperation with, and enhances relationships with emergency services
- Provides satisfaction that the victims' needs are being met
- Provides feedback to the officer on the outcome of the assistance provided to the victim.
Community- Improves coordination between community resources/services and emergency personnel
- Provides an opportunity for community members to become positively involved in the criminal justice system
- Helps to mobilize crime prevention efforts with the community
- Assures the community-at-large that victim needs are being addressed
